The Hot Breakfast spoke with a patron who is trapped onboard the Diamond Princess cruise liner due to passengers possessing the deadly Coronavirus.

The boat is currently located off the shores of Japan and over 130 cases of Coronaviras have been confirmed on the vessel.

Vera from Cheltenham, Melbourne joined the show live from the ship via Skype to give us an update on what exactly is happening on a daily basis.

She gave a fascinating firsthand account of how little freedom the patrons have onboard the ship & how patrons are being quarantined.

LISTEN HERE:

Vera revealed that passengers must be in quarantine for at least two weeks, and if they are suspected to have come into contact with someone with the virus their quarantine period resets for another two weeks.

She also detailed that she has been separated from her children on the vessel & that most of her time has to be spent in her room that has no windows or fresh air.
