The Melbourne Square development construction site has been shut down due to coronavirus concerns.
The Hot Breakfast's Seb Costello broke the story this morning which has since been confirmed.
He reported that the Health Department shut down the construction site, sending over 600 workers home.

It was later confirmed by Multiplex (construction company) that they were notified last night that a worker had tested positive to Covid-19.
Reports have emerged that a full clean & sanitation process will be carried out to today.
